Saturday service is a lame schedule, but the trains are sure full, today. So much so that I just got ran over by a man rushing to get off the cart because he wasn’t paying attention for his stop. I shouldn’t have worn flip flops :\

With the opening of the Airport line, the TRAX schedules have all changed. Everyone is going to be 7 minutes later than they want to be; at least everyone like me who doesn’t keep up with schedule changes.

Sometimes the odd things you see on TRAX aren’t related to TRAX. At the 9th East station today, I saw 3 men dangling off the new Intermountain Insta Care building on the northeast corner of 4th and 9th… NBD.

Now I’m on a bus bridge. Basically like TRAX, but not, because it’s a jammed shuttle bus that will haul all of the TRAX passengers to the stations past the incident: Millcreek and Meadowbrook. I’ve never been on a bus, before. What a way to initiate me.

So there was an accident that halted TRAX services past the Central Pointe station. I had to get off of a redline train at the Courthouse station to get on a Greenline (Cart 1168B) to Central Pointe.

We ran into a car on my way to the University. Thankfully it wasn’t serious enough to cause a major delay, and no one was seriously injured. Call me crazy, but I felt like something like that was going to happen today… Awesome. I’m getting a sixth sense about these types of things.

I was just asked to lend my phone to someone, while waiting at meadowbrook station. Do I really look that friendly? I get asked for my phone quite a lot on TRAX. One time it was a woman from Kenya, who didn’t have a ticket, but was headed from West Valley to Down Town. I don’t know what she was doing all the way out in West Valley, I think she was a student, or something. Anyway, the TRAX police took her somewhere when we reached Courthouse. I felt bad because she probably wasn’t sure what was going on. I also thought I might not get my phone back…
